One Breath
As part of a student film entitled One Breath, I did the opening sequence of a space ship docking with a space station. The idea was to have a somewhat quirky Wes Anderson aesthetic but keep a sort of sci-fi grit. I was responsible for all aspects except for the solar panels which came from a model of the International Space Station and the backdrop which was shot by the crew.
Design:
After discussing the overall design with the director this was the design that was decided on.
Modelling:
Modeling was all done by me though I kitbashed some solar panels onto the station.
Lighting and Texturing:
Lighting was all done by hand. I wanted it to feel quite cinematic. For the glow effects coming out of the back I simply animated a texture on a tube with a glow.
