Breakdown:

For Painty the pirate there wasn’t any footage shot so I had to build a 3d projection using a set photo and then various elements from other shots to build up a new shot with a camera move. I painted custom light maps to control the flicker from the fire on the painting.

The second shot I worked on was Cartman from South Park. For this I took an animation plate from one of the episodes that was provided and worked to integrate him into the scene using projection to create a pan motion.
